Come volunteer with the amazing Memory Care residents at The Villages of Dallas to play bingo, paint, color, play trivia, dance, listen to music, and enjoy some snacks in the sun (weather permitting).

Below are the current protocols for in-person volunteering at The Villages of Dallas.  These guidelines are subject to change at any time.

• All volunteers must show proof of being "up-to-date" with all recommended COVID-19 vaccine doses, and a booster dose when eligible or show proof of a qualifying exemption.

• On the day of the visit, volunteers who are only fully vaccinated but have not received a booster dose will be given an on-site COVID-19 Rapid Test administered by facility staff. OR the volunteer can bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of their visit.

• All volunteers must follow health screening protocols in place at the facility (e.g., wear a well-fitted non-cloth mask such as a surgical mask or KN95 mask, comply with temperature check, complete a CDC questionnaire, use proper hand hygiene, and practice physical distancing).

*Note: these healthcare requirements are subject to change at any time.  The facility activity director is the volunteer’s point of contact/supervisor.

If a volunteer has a cold or the flu, avoid visiting at the facility until no longer contagious.
